WHAT IS SILVASTA USED FOR:
Silvasta is used to treat erectile dysfunction commonly known as impotence.
YOU MUST NOT TAKE:
Do not take Silvasta if you are being treated for angina (chest pain) or any other heart conditions with certain medicines called nitrates. Nitrates have many brand names so it is very important you check with your Pharmacist or Doctor before you take Silvasta.
Do not take if you have an allergy to any medicine containing sildenafil or any other similar medicines (such as other medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction.)
DO NOT TAKE ON PHARMACIST SUPPLY IF:
- Unusually high or low blood pressure that is not effectively treated.
- Loss of vision in one or both eyes from an eye disease called nonarteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy (NAION) or have an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa
- Ever had a heart attack, stroke or mini-stroke (TIA)
- An arrhythmia (Heart beat problem)
- Kidney or liver problems (unless minor)
- Bleeding problems, stomach orduodenal ulcers
- Leukaemia (cancer of the blood cells)
- Multiple myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow)
- Any disease or deformity of your penis
- Sickle cell anaemia (disease of the blood)
- Colour vision problems
INGREDIENTS:
Sildenafil 100mg.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Headache, dizziness, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, diarrhoea, rash, unusual heart beat, stinging or burning when passing urine or more frequent need to pass urine, blood in urine, changes in vision such as blurring, a blue colour to your vision or a greater awareness of light, bleeding from your nose. Please contact your Doctor or pharmacist in the event of any of these happening.
